Bulk Actions for Locations

Managing large maps just became easier. You can now perform bulk actions on multiple locations at once — helping you work faster and keep your map organized with minimal effort.

What You Can Do

Delete

Permanently delete multiple locations at once.

Note: This action cannot be undone.

Unassign from All Categories

Remove selected locations from all categories.
Once unassigned, these locations will not appear on the map until you assign them to a new category.

Key Benefits

Save Time at Scale

Bulk actions eliminate the need to update locations one by one, which is especially helpful for maps with hundreds or thousands of items.

Easier Map Maintenance

Quickly clean up outdated locations, reorganize categories, or prepare your map for a structural update.

Increased Consistency

When performing classification changes (like removing a category or reorganizing your taxonomy), bulk actions help you apply consistent updates across many locations.

Streamlined Workflow for Imports

If you regularly import or sync data, bulk actions make it easy to tidy up duplicates or remove batches of outdated locations.

How It Works

You can select locations in several ways, depending on your workflow:

  1. Select Individual Locations

Use the checkbox next to each location to manually select multiple items.

  2. Select All Locations on the Page or on the Map

Click the Select All checkbox at the top of the list.
This selects all locations currently displayed on the page.

After selecting, you’ll also see an option to Select all locations on the map if you want to expand the selection beyond the current page.

  3. Use Search to Narrow Your List

Search for a keyword or filter the list, then select the relevant locations using any of the methods above.

Selection Feedback

The interface clearly displays how many locations are currently selected — for example: “Selected 200 locations on this page.”

This helps you keep track and ensures confidence before running a bulk action.
