Edit images in the media gallery

You can easily add images to your map locations. For the best results, use a 16:9 aspect ratio in the media gallery. We also recommend a 11920 * 1080px resolution, which ensures excellent viewing quality on both desktop and mobile devices.

We understand that not all your images are in this format. Therefore, when you upload or import images, we automatically optimize the display of the images by selecting between 2 display modes:

  • Crop to fit space – we automatically crop the image to fill the entire display area (default mode)
  • Full image –   The image is fully displayed, which usually results in some empty space on the sides of the image

Display Mode – Crop to fit space

Display Mode – Full image

This setting does not affect the image gallery. In the gallery, the images are always fully displayed.

Overwrite the automatic image display mode

In the image gallery, mouse over the image, click on the Pencil icon, and select the display mode you want to use. Check the  Preview to see how your selection looks.

Rotate Images

You can also use the Rotate button if you would like to change the image orientation.
