You can easily format your descriptions and insert links. This applies to both your map home page and the description for each location on your interactive map.
Links
To add a link:
- Highlight the text you want to turn into a link.
- Click the chain icon in the toolbar to hyperlink the selected text.
- Enter or paste the URL (e.g.,
https://mywebsite.com) and press Enter.
By default, links open in a new tab. If you want a link to open in the same tab, switch to HTML mode and set the target attribute to _self, like this:

Text Formatting
The following formatting options are available directly from the toolbar:
- Bold
- Italic
- Bullet list
- Numbered list
- Undo
- Redo
Additional formatting options are available by clicking the three dots in the toolbar:
- Underline
- Text color and background color
- Block formats (e.g., headers, quotes, code)
- Insert table
- Clear formatting
