Mapme displays a label with the name of each location. By default, this label is visible on mouse hover or when the location is selected.
However, you can also choose to always display the labels for all locations visible on the map. You can even control in the zoom range when all the labels will display.
Use case examples
Here are some examples of maps when showing all the labels makes the maps more user friendly
- Interactive Itineraries
- Custom real-estate listing
- Static maps for presentations (Print, PDF, Powerpoint)
Zoom level control
If your map has many locations in close proximity, the labels will overlap on the map and you might end up with a map mostly covered with labels. In this case, we highly recommend limiting the zoom range when all the labels are displayed. For example, you can enable the labels to only display between the zoom range of 16 to 22.
Label design and customization
If you enable this feature, the label design will be the same for all locations. The label background is white and the text black.
You can customize the labels with custom CSS.
It is not possible to customize the label design for each category.
How does it work?
You can enable this feature under
Settings > Markers > Always show labels
