Teammates Collaboration

The Team Collaboration feature in Mapme allows multiple users to work together within the same account. Users can create, edit, or review maps collaboratively, based on the role assigned to them.

The number of users and available roles depends on your selected plan:

Plan Overview

Expert Plan

  • Up to 3 users
  • 2 roles available: Owner and Member

Enterprise Plan

  • Flexible user capacity
  • Advanced roles and granular permissions to control who can create, edit, publish, or view maps

Learn more about detailed roles and permissions in the User Roles & Permissions guide for the Enterprise plan.

Roles in the Expert Plan

Account Owner

  • The person who creates the account is automatically assigned as the Owner.
  • All users added later are assigned the Editor role by default.
  • The Owner can invite or remove Editors from the account.
  • The Owner receives administrative emails, including billing notifications (you can update the billing contact via the billing page).

To manage users, go to the Teammates section, accessible from the dropdown menu in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Account Editor

  • Editors can create, edit, and delete all maps in the account.
  • Editors have full access to all map-related settings.
  • Editors cannot view or manage other users.
  • If you’d like users to have limited editing access only (without managing maps), consider using the Map to Sheets Google Add-on or upgrading to the Enterprise plan.

How to Change the Account Owner

The current Account Owner can transfer ownership to any existing member. After the transfer, the previous owner will automatically become a standard member.
