In addition to sharing your interactive maps online, you can also generate high-resolution images of your maps that are suitable for high-quality printing.
Images are generated in the PNG format at either standard or high resolution.
By default, the print will generate an image file of the map overview. However, you can also specify any map URL such as a category or a location URL.
Which map resolution is available?
We offer 3 options for the map print resolution
High resolution
This generates files with 4K resolution suitable for large dimension high-quality printing. The high-resolution print feature is available in the Expert plan and above.
Standard resolution
This generates files with a resolution of 1920px by 1320px which are suitable for presentations like PowerPoint and PDF as well as small size print.
Custom resolution
With this option, you select the browser viewport size. The image file resolution will be twice the viewport dimensions with the built-in retina screenshot.
What are the map printing rights?
Most map styles have limitations on commercial printing rights. We created 2 map styles based on OSM data
Printing of those map styles is allowed for commercial use however resale of the print materials is not allowed. For example, you can print promotional materials, such as business cards, pamphlets, and flyers. However, you cannot print the map to include in a book for sale.
Those styles are not available in our standard package. Contact us if you are interested in using those styles.
The copyrights notice should appear on all prints.
